The launch of the eleventh edition of the Anoumabo Urban Music Festival (FEMUA) took place on Thursday 15 March 2018 in Abidjan.
Planned for 17 to 22 April next, in Abidjan and Korhogo, the festival will aim to raise awareness among young people on the theme: ‘ ‘ African Youth and Clandestine immigration ‘ ‘.
Everyone must help our young people to fight this practice. The FEMUA is a forum to educate young people not to embark on this adventure ‘ ‘ said Sadi Traoré said A’Salfo at this launch.
Moreover, this edition will be marked by the inauguration of the Magic System School of Séguéla and the maternity of Loulo.
The Commissioner general has provided integrated innovations in the FEMUA 11 program.
These innovations include the SACEM workshops (a platform for reflection and exchange on copyright and artists ‘ careers) that will highlight the « Live » for beginners. Also, a tournament called the ECOWAS tournament will be introduced in this festival.
This year, the festival will be held at the National Institute of Youth and Sports because of the work of tarring in progress, in the village of Anoumabo.
The festival will be organized around 5 components: The Social FEMUA, Sport, Science, Kid, music.
A huge and scalable project, the FEMUA was born in 2008 on the initiative of Sadi Traoré, lead vocal of the Magic System Group and curator general of the festival.

For this eleventh edition sponsored by the Prime Minister Amadou Gon Coulibaly, there are 150 000 festival-goers, and about fifteen artists who will be at the rendezvous.

Among the artists who came from the outside are mixes, the French singer Soprano, Dub Inc, the Nigerian Yemi Adam, the Congolese Lokoua Kanza, the Malians, Mr. Koité, the Benin Zeynab and the Burkina Bil Aka Kora. On the local side, we note: Luckson onlooker, Kedjevara, the Leaders, Dobet Gnahoré, Sidonie the tigress, Guy Christ Israel.
